With the holidays I have not been able to complete my 5000 mile maintenance. Front wheel bearings still need repacking, all 4 brakes need checking, distributor needs checking, etc. Hopefully by the time of my next post all of that will be history!
This past Thursday I had my pickup in the annual JPL car show once again. Lots of beautiful cars. The prewar contingent was pretty sparse and seems to be getting fewer every year. We had a ’31 Model A panel delivery, my ’39 pickup, a ’17 T and a ’14 Overland.
I thought people would like (?) to see these pictures. It is not every day that you see a vintage vehicle greasy side up. Lost the brakes. The driver made it out fine. It looks to me like a ’38 pickup that had been converted to hydraulic brakes.
Mid 70’s and no rain. My pickup is going to be out and about a lot. Time to get yours out too!
The deadline for signing up for the holiday party is almost here. Sign up now!
Keep an eye open for your next Drive Lines. There you will find the sign up sheet for our December 3 holiday party. Hope to see you there!
We had a great October meeting. Lots of great stuff changed hands and the club did well as usual. Thanks to everyone who participated!
Be sure to bring stuff to our October auction meeting. Car parts or just good stuff. All proceeds will benefit the club see you there and remember to raise your paddle early and often.
WordPress is great. I just added a Contact Us page in under 10 minutes!
I just finished putting all of the events, through October, that Mr. President told us about at yesterday’s meeting.
