This past Thursday I had my pickup in the annual JPL car show once again. Lots of beautiful cars. The prewar contingent was pretty sparse and seems to be getting fewer every year. We had a ’31 Model A panel delivery, my ’39 pickup, a ’17 T and a ’14 Overland.
Ford pickup flipped blocks from my house!
I thought people would like (?) to see these pictures. It is not every day that you see a vintage vehicle greasy side up. Lost the brakes. The driver made it out fine. It looks to me like a ’38 pickup that had been converted to hydraulic brakes.
Perfect flathead weather!
Mid 70’s and no rain. My pickup is going to be out and about a lot. Time to get yours out too!

Relaunch
At yesterday’s monthly meeting at Rosies I showed off our shiny new website. I received a lot of calendar updates so they will be there soon…
Our speaker was Al Mooney who described and passed around some of the high-precision parts his machine shop creates. Amazing!
