I first saw this car around 1980, owned by Valley V-8s member and ex-p resident Chuck Mair who owned it for approximately 30 years.  When Chuck became ill, Joe D. purchased the car and eventually sold it to his brother in law.  About 10 years ago Joe asked if I was interested in purchasing Chuck’s old ’41 and my wife and I went up to Canyon Country to look at the car.  My wife Leslie liked the car a lot and we made the decision to purchase it.  Over the last 10 years we’ve made some changes but the overall look and flathead drive train remain the same as when Chuck Mair owned it when I first saw it some 40 years ago…
