100 years old car, by Vasken

I bought it in 2022, however I saw it a year before.  It belonged to Max Norris. Rex knew about this car, he drove it.  Our Sandy Norris used to say Max is my brother.

Max told me it was not for sale. Get it “over my dead body”. Funny my 24 Chevy owner said “over my dead body”. Funny term I have to watch it!!! I bought both cars in time.

These photos were taken during assembly if the car. I purchased it from Max’s daughter.

If you notice they put a 350 Chevy motor in, then later Max said no. Let us put a Ford motor in a Ford.

1953 Ford Flathead, all steel body,  original wood bow roof, Edelbrock manifold with 3 carbs, Offenhauser heads, headers, Isky cam, 8″ Ford rear end, disk brakes, Crager mag wheels, electric seats, new 32 Ford instruments, Tilt Ford steering column

I replaced the mounts, water pumps, new radiator. New front end. People take photos as I drive. Do I want to sell the car: “over my dead body” ?????

Yes it still needs work, 100 years old car. The only one older than the car is Ed Isky, my dear friend and a member of our Ford club. He will be 105 in July 2026.
